There's a mute and block feature on Twitter and I advise Simmers to use it if they get upset by toxic tweets.
Information via Search
"The blocking feature on Twitter lets you restrict some specific accounts from contacting you, seeing your tweets and following you. Whereas muting allows you to remove an account’s Tweets from your timeline without unfollowing or blocking that account. Muted accounts will not know that you’ve muted them and you can anytime unmute them."
So, by muting, they can post as much abuse as they like but won't know you don't see it! It might do them some good mentally by getting rid of their upset feelings. You never know. :)
I’ve been muting a lot of people, words, & phrases since last year. What I’ve noticed that some of the people who complained are not even “playing the game” or simply using others experience in the game to “justify” their argument.
Some who only playing with CAS or builds are also complaining the lack of gameplay where I hardly see any of them actually know what are the gameplay feature.
Some also complaining that they pay hundreds or thousands when they were actually getting most of the pack for free (from giveaways or gifted).
Some keep on growing their platform by keep on spreading the negativities. What more surprise, these people are acknowledged by most which causes those who are actually talented being totally ignored.
It’s very annoying. Sometimes, I just want to name & shame. Yet, I just feel like wasting my time. People will always find a reason to hate because they can’t no longer see or appreciate what they have. Most only focus on what they don’t have because that’s the reason why they want to be hateful. ??♀️
