I'm talking about sims who don't have the neat trait also. It probably doesn't sound that bad but it's extremely annoying to me because I pay to have a maid come every day, and I'd rather my sims spend their time doing other things. But literally a second after a puddle forms on the floor or a sink gets dirty like three of my sims automatically get it in their action queue to mop the puddle or clean the sink, even the child sims! I'm thinking seriously, what child is going to choose to go mop up a puddle over playing a game or watching tv?This seems to be a recent occurence also, so that makes me think it may have to do with the recent patch or something (either that or my game is just really buggy right now lol).

I have the opposite issue -- my neat Sims get the uncomfortable moodlet for bad/filthy surroundings and I can't find where the dirty stuff is. I may have to hire a maid at least once a week for general cleaning. Way back when the game was released if you had a neat Sim as active you could click on the floor and choose Clean House and the Sim would go through and find all the dirty stuff (usually there was an empty glass hiding behind the computer or a dirty dish in the bookshelf) but that's been borked for a lont time.

I never have to worry about over filling the trash bin, puddles, you name it. They will grab empty dishes almost before they're empty.

Yes, I've noticed my non-Neat Sims, all Sims really, cleaning a lot more recently. Even Vlad took out the trash before he left when he came creeping around to snack on my Sim. Her bedroom door was locked, so he couldn't get to her, but he stuck around to play Sims Forever on her computer, put away a book, wash a bowl and take out the trash. lolIt really doesn't bother me that much though. Except when they happen to break a sink or toilet, stand and whine about it and then mop the floor over and over and over instead of fixing anything first. *rolls eyes*

Hmm, doesn't seem to be happening with anyone else then? I do have MCCC, I wonder if there is some setting for cleaning in there that I have switched on or something. I should check that I guess

Hmm, doesn't seem to be happening with anyone else then? I do have MCCC, I wonder if there is some setting for cleaning in there that I have switched on or something. I should check that I guess

@ladysweettart sorry, no. I'm not having this happen either. I have more trouble getting to clean up after themselves at all. I'm getting that well known bug where your sim cancels the interactions you suggest and goes and does their own thing instead.

It annoys me a lot when guests do it... They always clean. Anyway, I have this too, but I'm using Mccc as well.

Just yesterday I was looking for a mod that could stop puddles from forming or stop sims from cleaning them. It's absolutely ridiculous how much my sims are cleaning a puddle. Whether it's from rain or from the two dogs they have peeing outside...it's constant and annoying.

uhm yup, my sims cleans the house more often than my butler but my maid does help most of the time. i think i just keep my butler around cause i hate leaving my pets alone (even tho they dont do crap or clean them while im gone) but i guess just the idea of not leaving my pets "alone" is why i haven't fired my butler yet.
