i'm not gonna lie, seasons needs its refresh to match with the packs
older pack wise especially the buildings
and the newer packs especially the weathers
i can understand some worlds but a world like Moonwood Mill, Copperdale and San Sequoia should have winter weathers too, the worlds are either too warm or too rainy, there are barely variations in weathers in my opinion, maybe even do cross-packs that came after Seasons to match with the packs and the events here and there👍
i don't need a world for a Season expansion pack but i do want atleast 1 aspiration, weather and seasons likes/dislikes and maybe even 1 or 2 personality trait "hates seasons" and "love seasons" or something
and i don't mind the plants and the trees but i want a few plants and trees you can take care of it like in The Sims 2 game
Seasons needs its refresh for sure because some of the things looks so outdated to me - BissenNess11 months agoSeasoned Ace
When I started watching the trailer, visions of Open for Business danced in my head. Finally, my sims can run a business out of their own home! Then I saw how similar the set up was to For Rent and my hopes were dashed. This almost certainly means that there will be loading screens between the "home" part and the business part. How is that better than owning a business in your home neighborhood? Either way, you can click on something and you eventually get there. I also don't like the idea of my sims having a part of their home property I can't readily access.

I really wish there were more hobbies. I wonder why they decided to only have two hobbies (?). I would have love to see ballet in this pack. Maybe they should've called this pack something else besides "Business and Hobbies", especially the "Hobbies" part. I just don't understand why there are only two hobbies.

It is absolutely astonishing that they didn't include any hobbies for kids or teens. Yes, the kid in the trailer made a clay teapot, but notice how they didn't use the kiln (which makes sense). Basically, they're just playing with a lump of clay like in Eco Lifestyle.
No new hobbies for kids?? NONE? No wonder most of the cc objects in my game are for children (or younger).
Absolutely ridiculous to call this an EP.

To be fair the pack is call Buisness and Hobbise. Not Hobbise and buisinesd. The business is the most important of pack.So hobbies would have something that conside with business

This new EP could be a gateway for more hobbies and activities to be introduced in the future.
I have so many hobbies in my game already with all my add-on's therefore I don't feel let down or disappointed right now.
I have not even explored flower arraigning or archeology yet and I love theses hobbies/jobs.

If it has loading screens like for rent. I probably won't be getting it

I'm actually pretty confident it won't. In For Rent, you basically had to load a whole new lot. Here, you're not switching lot, you're just delimiting public and private spaces and opening/closing business might work like in Dine Out where people just leave once you close business, it should be all seamless.

When I see game corruption caused by Residential Rental lot (EP15 For Rent released 15 months ago), I worry about Small Business lot.
https://simscommunity.info/2025/02/13/sims-4-save-game-corruption-issue/
However, if you want to avoid The Sims 4 Save Game corruption issue altogether and save your long progress, it’s best to avoid playing For Rent. Until at least we get a statement on when to expect a Hotfix Update.

As a visitor, I don't know how the game will handle visiting the business part and visit the residential part.
NPC townies don't act the same way between venue and home. If the NPC hosts are working at the business, they won't be at home.
