sims can't dance together ?

@angelsdavid I think EA did a much better job with the dancing animations than in previous games. Many of the moves are hip hop dance inspired. You can see dancing like that in videos on YT. I like it when my Sims get real low to the ground, dropping it like it's hot. :D It takes a little while for them to get really good and go beyond just the two-step it seems. Great but what does it do for 'dancing together'? Nothing. Face to face didn't disappear in real life so why is it missing in TS4?

I'd like this too. It seems a bit weird.

Did any of the expansions ever add face to face dancing? I just bought the game for the first time and I have the base game of course, Vampires, Get Together and a couple stuff packs and still no face to face dancing. At least not that I can find. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I have to say that this game is a big disappointment so far. BIG.

Dancing together (like face to face) was in the sims 3 base game not LN
LN introduced new club dance moves but the normal dancing together which was in
TS3 base

I thought I was the only one looking for this feature. I was thinking it depends on the music playing. I'd love to see this as a new feature

No they dance together but not facing each other. They always dance to the side of each other. There is a slowdance mod that lets them face each other,hold hands,lay head on shoulder and makeout.
