it's always frustrated me that when one sim is out of the house, the sims still at home don't sleep. like??? why?? they'll be on the "care for self" setting, so why don't they sleep to fill their energy need?i'll have one sim come home at one in the morning to a bunch of their family feeling uncomfortable because they couldn't sleep.i can't be the only one this annoys, right?

You aren't the only one...it's very annoying, especially in households with young children! There is a mod to (sort of) correct the behaviour and I use it, for that very reason.

I hate to say it is not universal, as I have sims who do remember where the bed is when I am not home. But with how the game behaves from system to system, what happens with mine isn't necessarily the same with all.
And yes, that would be most frustrating.

LittleMsSam is an absolute legend when it comes to the little fixes. It can go either way in my households. Or it'll be a mix - some have green bars, some have yellow, and the toddler's ready to pass out because his mother didn't put him to bed autonomously.
