Sims hate their gifts?
So my sim had her "birthday" (I made it a holiday so that she wouldn't have to age up but could still celebrate ^U^) and one of the traditions was Giving Flowers because she loves outdoors and gardeni...

I'm so glad to hear from others on this subject! It was so strange to me because I was SO excited to give gifts but was so sad that only one of them went off well. >w< I wouldn't be so confused about it if they liked the gifts at least as much as they disliked them! I mean, I only had a day of gift giving but in that entire day, only 1 gift was liked and the rest of them were disliked!
If this is a bug, I would be more than happy to report it to see! Although I haven't been on the forums for too long so I'm not entirely sure how to go about that. >w<
Also I personally just recently got Parenthood and my 3 sims that were the main gift givers were all their ages (Young Adults and Teenager) when I got it, so the Young Adults didn't get any special traits or learn anything when they were kids because I didn't play them as kids. >U< But the teenager does have his manners pretty high, I think to the point of being in range to get the special trait when he ages up! So I'm not sure if that affected them at all? That'd be super duper interesting if they did! I feel like their actual traits and aspirations should affect it more though because part of it is a matter of manners and another part is a matter of liking it at all! >w< Flowers should have made her so happy!
It might very well have to do with them buying the gifts, I'll try to test that out a bit more! Even if the bought gifts are lower quality than the gift I'm trying to give them from my own pocket. >w<
