Sims still wear one outfit when there are more than one per-category?

Sometimes mine wear the same first outfit often. They seem to like changing into different clothes after they've showered opposed to when they get out of bed and change or leave the house.

Yes my Sims aswell, they mainly use the 2 first outfits.

I've found that the outfit tagged as number 1 gets the most usage. I try to rotate the outfits to no. 1 when I get sick of outfit no. 1.

I didn't even know they changed outfits if you had more than one set. :o Good to know!

I chose 5 outfits in each category - and change all of them to 5 new ones in each category about every 4-5 real life weeks - but my sims are pretty good in switching up all their outfits without me having to make them - especially since they fixed some of the weird festivale outfit pairing.

I do not have any mods or CC - so I never have issues - but my daughter - in -law loves CC and uses a lot of it as far as hair, clothing, and make up goes - and she often complains having trouble getting her sims to change to new outfit like mine do. So i wonder if CC clothing might make the auto-change have an issue seeing it is AI controlled and perhaps not recognizing clothing might make it hesitate and the delay makes the sim put back on the same clothing they had been wearing.

I suggested to my daughter-in-law to remove her mod folder and try a new game - but she refuses - she says she has to have her CC. LOL.

I laugh because I used to be like that in Sims 2 and learned not to be like that in Sims 3 and 4. But she has a lot of issues I never see in my game and her pc is a super computer much like my own.
