Sims Team, Can You Fix the FPS Bug Next?

Hey I hope someone from the Sims Team sees this because this bug needs to be fixed now.

For those who might not know what I mean, there is a bug that happens randomly or mostly after entering and exiting build/buy mode that drops the game's fps (frames per second) to the 10-20s.

This bug isn't tied to specific hardware since people with very diffent systems have been experiencing it (as noted on Answers HQ) and even Youtubers are experiencing it and even posting videos with the bug in action.
This bug came around Eco Lifestyle (I think) and has yet to be fixed.

I bet there are tons of videos, even by GameChangers, out there that show this bug and I think for it to be in so many people's videos it must in a lot of people's games as well. It's definitely in mine and I think it's so prominent that is should get fixed.

    I thought this thread would get a little bit more attention since this is a bug I see everywhere on Youtube and in my game. Maybe other people are not experiencing it? I don't know.

    Maybe everyone slowly is getting used to AHQ being the new help center for the sims games. I have not played TS4 or TS3 long enough to know how the bug forum was before AHQ. But considering that the bug thread has got 112 Me Too's, I think it is getting attention.

    I think that when the SimGurus, or other EA titled personnel posts, asking for files or info, it might partly be because they cannot reproduce the issue/need more varied info to fix it. So when they get involved it seems more urgent to respond, and I see them post more often on AHQ than here; regarding bugs.

    I think it affects everyone.

    And in case you did not know, for some strange reason clicking on the pause menu in the upper right gets rid of it when you get it.

    The performance in the game overall seems pretty bad now.

    I think the patch made the FPS in my game even worse. And it seems to be effecting live mode and build mode. I have a couple mods installed, but it shouldn't be causing all these problems. I have a gaming computer that can handle the Sims 4.
    Seems like it gets worse with each patch.

    I'm not sure if this relates to the issue in question, but I have noticed the lagging when moving the camera and tonight I was fiddling around in settings and noticed Vertical Sync was off, so I turned that on and it seemed to help.

    Same here for Vertical Sync, but the issue is still noticable. Also it lags each time I touch sims inventories. The pause indeed help with this for some time. So for now I'm just pausing time after time.

    i get this issue way too much, the way i fix it is by just pressing escape to the main menu and back it seems to fix the issue and also the game needs some preformance optimisation cuz im playing on a pc that is way above this games reccomended specs and i still see fps drops in some worlds ESPICIALLY sanmyshonu its quite annoying
