In addition to painting and nectar making, gardening with maxed skill is a good money maker. My gardener easily makes 1500-2K simoleons every day. Painting is probably the fastest way though. You can spam it all day for several thousand simoleons each.
Gardening is especially profitable if you have money trees. Lots of them. 😄Also, I heard orchids sell for quite a lot. Don't think I ever grew them with any of my sims.

What are money trees? And how do you get them?

You get them from the aspiration rewards store.

I might get seasons.

Money tree seeds can be brought from the aspirations tab/reward store. They cost 5000 aspiration reward points.
Put them in an ground garden patch or a planter box or just straignt into the ground. They take a while to grow but provide money when harvested depending on quality. When mature they can be spliced onto something fast growing (strawberries) to generate income and more seeds...

Raising and selling growfruit is also lucrative. (Most of my sims garden and growfruit is the best fertilizer in the game.)

Where do you get growfruit?

If you have Outdoors Retreat, you can get Growfruit from the Ranger Station at Granite Falls when on vacation.

I did not know that! I thought it had to be a fish to fertilize it 🤣🤣

You can fertilize with any type of fish or plant.👍

I didn't know that about growfruit either. My sim has 3 horses and 6 chickens. I've been using their manure to fertilize her plants. The growfruit thing is interesting to know since she just got one in a seed packet. I think it was a rare packet, but it might have been the uncommon packet.
