Slice of Life...

I like the drama aspect of it. I like the rare moments I do get social interaction I get like my sim getting a call from a crush or while my sim is at home I like the personality system. You can remove different parts of SOL though some are required to make the mod work. Do you have other mods like Extreme Violence? I haven't had issues with a ton of intrusive calls. I haven't had my sim being beaten up and robbed by household members because of SOL. I had that happen with Extreme Violence mod by Sacrificial but not SOL. I have been using Sacrifical's mods longer than I have been using SOL. I have been using Basemental mods longer than I have been using SOL. I have removed things I don't need because other mods do it better like Wonderful Whims, The Chemistry System, Basemental Sacrificial etc. I have the bare minimum usually installed for SOL.

I haven’t used it since it was updated with the personality interactions and the autonomous makeup. It was a nice mod for a while, I actually loved the blushing effect and being able to see visually when my sims were embarrassed but it all got to much for me. The constant texts and random mood swings it caused my sims were annoying. I don’t get why people find that fun. I know we can delete the parts we don’t like but it got the point where I was deleting like 90% and the mod and one day I just decided to delete the whole thing.

I don't use mods and I get the calls from crushes. They're very cute :) Are they from Eco Lifestyle maybe?

Sounds about like me, except that I never actually tried it. I did consider it, but while researching what I'd be getting myself into, I decided not to download it. I'm sure it's very well done and all, but just more than I wanted. :)

Nope, I don’t have Extreme Violence. I just have my sim beat up his wife and child out of nowhere. It was really sad so I removed all the mod because I didn’t know where it was coming from.

Same here, it's a fantastic mod don't get me wrong, but as a player who prefers a more vanilla gameplay experience that mod just takes over.

Has it been updated? I hadn't noticed it had since even before this last patch.

I tried it for a while, but it's definitely something I can live without. I removed most of the add-ons when I tried it because they just ended up not being fun overall. Like the pimples...if it was just a teen thing and not every single sim, then it wouldn't be such a bad thing. If there was an autonomy to washing their face, fine. But absolutely having to wear that face mask was overkill.
