So a The Sims news site finally noticed that...

I have been wondering why noone has been talking about it on forums since I got it on 12th of July. I've seached it up on the internet and saw people on Reddit have that same thing happen. Today I see it on The Sims Community.

What I'm talking about?

You look low on funds! message.

If the household is low on simoleons (let's say §2,419) and you play for some time, this message will pop up giving you tips on making money and offering you some money. How much is some? §50,000 aka Motherlode amount. Of course you can also say no to it.

The game is too easy as it is.
If they want to get money, they should just cheat like everyone has been since the year 2000. I wished they'd start catering this game to a less "casual" audience, and realize a lot of players enjoy a challenge.

It doesn’t seem very common (which would be really annoying), and you can say no without consequences so I don’t really care.

It reminds me of watching a movie for small kids that have to explain how money works and why mom and dad have to go to work.

What's next? If you have low needs the game will explain to you how to go to the bathroom and how to make food in the kitchen?

I said other because it might be good for children or people who like to cheat for some families. Maybe they could put a toggle on it so you can choose.

If someone is staying below 2500 simoleans for any length of time, they're likely doing a rags to riches and not cheating.

I think the attempt to be more informative about the game is good, there are many questions posed about gameplay exhibiting a player base not being hard core gamer, adult etc. There are other ways of giving informatiopn than having it interrupt gameplay though, and the existance of cheats and mods seems to be the first thing every simmer knows about anyway.

It's not something I will ever use, I think the game is already to easy especially when it comes to making simoleons but other players might enjoy it.
