So winter is brutal

I'm also curious as to what actually caused the death(s). I'm also wondering if this is a bug or glitch or something that was actually included into the game? If it's the former and just a bug, I may try playing with a newer household until it gets resolved. If it's the latter, the circumstances that led to it have me wondering how it happens.

I haven't encountered it (yet?), so I'm a bit surprised to read about this and am not sure whether I should be concerned for some of my sims or not to be honest.

Jogging in the winter seems pretty dangerous for the Sims. I was in the library yesterday and there were 3 blue Sims wandering around outside in exercise outfits. I sent my Sim home before any of them died though.

Yeah this is a bug due to the new categories hot/cold clothing and sims not changing into them or something like this. one of my sims I switch to sometimes almost died last night (she was just standing there blue) so I made the tough choice of turning off the effects of temperature, till everything gets fixed.

Lol, I think my life needs spicing up too. I'm hoping for some rl death flower bouquets I can send to people I hate, but I would settle for gifting them a cow plant :D

Whenever my Sims went jogging, or if I saw other sims jogging, I feel like the worrywort mother from The Brave Little Toaster movies:

I somehow survived many a winter in Milwaukee, WI. You would think they gave us a new world - Siberia - with how fast sims freeze to death. Think it is a bit ridiculous. Tired of seeing blue people too.

Yea, sims standing outside when you go to a gym or what not and dying because they do not go inside is stupid.

My Sim has lost at least 5 Sims she knew well enough to get the phone call, plus who knows how many that she didn't know (I get the notifications from MCCC) but I didn't take note of how many till the game started killing off my Sims' friends, all felled while jogging. Turning off temperature effects till this gets toned down; jogging should keep you warm enough to stave off death.

Two of the deaths left orphaned offspring. I lost Cassidy and Gunther Munch on the same night; I had the teens sell the house and move to an apartment in San Myshuno; their step-brother Emory Holiday was already there so he moved in with them. The other was a single mother who left a small child, but I had my MCCC settings to have a random household adopt in cases of neglect or orphaned, so she's still in the game.
