Son & Mom Fist Fight.

I haven't played Parenthood yet but if this is a thing I'm loving it. It's a challenge to keep a relationship positive. Right now all I've experienced is all happy time.

I love this feature actually, it adds so much drama to the game! Usually two teen siblings will pick a fight with each other, not parent and children. I didn't think that teens could fight adults/young adults?

I love the feature when the teens do it , but when a mother and son who have a really high relationship do it out of the blue , it just ruins the storyline for me

I get where you're coming from, if you're playing a certain storyline it could ruin it a bit. However I would laugh so hard if that would happen in my game lmao! "Oh hey mom how are you?" "Good son, how was your day, did you do well on your exam?." "EXCUSE ME!" *fistfight*

In the new game pack children and teens can go through phases where they will act different. These usually last a few sim days. I have had the loud phase, rebellious phase, bear phase (where the sim dresses as a bear) and the mean phase, all for kids. I think your sim had the mean phase since when my sim gets it they fight and do mean interactions randomly. When your sim has a phase you can find it out in two ways:
1. Look on the notifications. Usually when your sim begins a phase there will be a notification for it.
2. Look on the simology place. Below your traits will be an extra one which is a phase.

yeah it's annoying how one mean interaction takes away so much of the green bar and you need about a million friendly ones to become friends in the first place, thats my issue anyway, but ive never had family members randomly attacking each other

The son is a teen almost an adult. But he didnt have a phase he just did it out of nowhere.

:joy: I have noticed an increase in random mean interactions since Parenthood, too. Though, I haven't seen a fist fight yet.

The siblings of my current household (maxed relationship) have recently been attempting to start arguments with one another. I think it's supposed to be a new way to introduce random acts of sibling rivalry, but I'm not sure. The instigator was always the older sibling while she was Confident. Was your sim confident? In general, it seems like most sims pull more mischief and mean socials while they're in this mood.

I just had this happen. Except mine was between a son and his father. Who I thought had a good relationship. Suffice to say, the dad showed the son a thing or two. He's an athletic sim who completed the body builder aspiration, and level 10 athletic career, and level 10 fitness. I know it doesn't really affect the fight outcomes but still...

Never had any of this in my game, my sim family always likes to hug each other.
