Soulmate aspiration and BFF
I had a sim with the Soulmate aspiration and got the goal "Get married to BFF". By the time I got the goal, I was in a relationship with Soulmate status. We got Engaged through the conversation option...

I have read that many are having the issue with the BFF. It would seem that you can only have 1 BFF. :\
I made my 2 sisters BFF's when they were teens and haven't gotten the option with anyone else yet. I think it is either borked or they missed the plum ball with BFF and you can have only one. :(
There's been a lot of discussion about whether that is a bug or intentional. The concept that is put forward is that someone can only have one "Best" Friend (Forever) -- there is the best, and then there is everyone else. So if you need to have 5 different BFFs, you need to let the relationship go with one so you can establish it with another.
I'm not saying I agree with this interpretation. I'm just saying it's out there.
