Spooky Stuff costumes unavailable for Spooky Day holiday?

And yet you would think they would code them to show up for the people who do? It's a SP based around costume parties and Halloween. The same way fireworks are a tradition if you own a pack that has them.

I'm aware that not everyone has spooky day. However, you would think EA would code it so that if you DID own spooky day (which I do) the costumes would be an option.

Sounds like a bug or that they forgot to add that option. You should let SimGuruNick or Arvin know on Twitter.

Really? I was planning on getting Spooky Day to go with Seasons, partly for the costumes. But if the game doesn't recognise them as costumes, that's really unfortunate.

@MissNightOwl I don't have the EP yet, but I saw someone do a Weenie Roast while having a Summer holiday in their Let's Play. So this should work!

Thanks for information :) So I guess you could throw a Spooky Party and choose the costumes that way, just don't make it prestige party if you don't care about goals. I'm pretty sure you don't even have to complete the event, because Sims won't change automatically when it ends.

I don't have the Spooky SP but I think this could be a way around the problem - yes. I also don't think you can throw a prestige event while a holiday is going on anyway as there would be too many goals to complete.

Yeah, I ended up throwing a spooky party and everyone changed into spooky stuff costumes. So weird, I find it hard to believe seasons got all the way to release and not one person said "WAIT what about those spooky stuff costumes?!"... I'm gonna choose to believe this is a bug haha.
