Stairs in Foxbury Making Sims Late?

I've been playing Discover University both at University of Britechester and at Foxbury...I notice my Sims are ALWAYS late at Foxbury and are having issues doing well in classes because of it and I had no issues at Britechester.

I'm watching them run between classes and notice that while they do RUN to classes to get there on time, Sims are not able to run up/down stairs, only walk. Britechester is pretty flat while Foxbury has so many stairs...it's making my Sims super late to class. Is there any solution to this?

I do want to play at Foxbury but this just seems like a huge design oversight.

    Why to give us transportation and then make 1000000000 stairs. I can't even enjoy my bicycle. I still can use it somewhere else perhaps. I'm frustrated because every other time my sims want to ride it they have a glitch and leave the bike behind and walk instead to the class or home and I have to bring them back to pick up their bikes.
