Hello everyone!I'd first just like to say a huge thank you to the developers for the amazing update i love all the new features, having a lot of fun playing with them and the lighting looks wonderful. One thing is starting to bug me a little... My Sims constantly going to the sink to get a glass of water. With all my sims i buy the Steel Bladder trait so my Sims are not always running to the toilet when trying to build skills. But now they are always running to the sink for water... Is there anyway i can stop them from using that option? I'd love to be able to turn it off somehow.

It's a drink thing. For some unknown reason sims are driven to wanting water, milk or juice on a very regular basis if left to their own devices. Only good thing is that they all garner money if you trash them in the cash bin!

All of these drink problems would be solved if they just added a thirst meter and then treated it like how the hunger meter is treated where they would only get a drink if it was necessary and not all the time.I mean its not like it takes them that long to get a drink anyways so adding a thirst meter wouldn't affect much in the long run.They could even allow you to have a drink paired with a meal at home and not just at restaurants.. like a combined meal and drink option then so you could solve both problems at once.. would be soooo much better than just having them spam drinks nonstop.This nonstop drinking has been a reappearing problem for like forever now and a thirst meter would fix it.

Oh I LOVE the idea of having drinks with meals. A thirst meter would be nice if we could have a trait to stop it from declining so fast.

I find it extremely annoying. My sims just stop doing stuff to go get water and it brings their bladder need down a lot. I also am annoyed with all the glasses everywhere. It isn't just one or twice a sim day, one of my sims got like 6-8 glasses in one day.

@CrazyboutTheSims it wouldn't be a huge deal if it was a drink every now and then. In fact, as you said, that would be pretty normal. It's just for those of us who have sims obsessively drinking water, abandoning current actions, and completely clearing their queue, these things are not realistic or normal. You wouldn't walk in on your mother-in-law for a glass of water, drink water until you peed your pants, or stop hacking a server to get a glass of water knowing you would lose all your progress. Drinking in these situations isn't normal and shouldn't happen in the sims either.

In that case I would be annoyed too. I just didn't understand why so many got annoyed at this..hopefully they will fix this soon.

I've noticed this too. I've always had problems with my Sims getting juice or milk. Now, they're after the water. All.the.time.

Since noticing them drink water randomly now, I noticed another thing about them curing an "illness" with hydration moodlet that said using home remedy for it :)

Mine keep leaving partial glasses of water all over the house like they've been watching Signs too often. Just waiting for the aliens to turn up.

OMGosh yes! I hate the water drinking. Constantly, what's the deal? They are sims, I understand the message of wanting to promote good health, but it is enough. Sims don't need to drink all the time. If it was like sims 2 where the glasses just disappeared, that would be at least a little more tolerable, but not this. Please fix in next update!
