Stop Hot/Cold Outfits From Automatically Changing

You probably have to go the mod route. I do not really know of an option, though if you figure out a vanilla solution I would love to hear it. Though, I think they do it so Sims will not drop like flies in summer and winter. However, it definitely makes laundry an uphill battle.

I use MCCC dresser to change my sims instantly back into the outfit I want them to be in.

Mine stopped doing that after I shut off the hot and cold effects on Sims. They will only change into the 'weather appropriate' clothing when I leave the household, play another, then come back. If I'm actively playing a household, they only change after showering to 'everyday cloths', working-out 'athletic', or going to bed 'pajamas'.

I'm guessing it's put in so that your Sims are much less likely to overheat or freeze to death when they are just going around doing their own things autonomously.
