Storing herbs

I finally had a chance to get my family on a vacation. While there I found a lot of herbs! When I got back home and started store some items in the fridge I noticed that I can't store mushrooms or herbs in. Is there a place to store them or do they just stay in my inventory? (they crowd the inventory)
  • I'm sorry I don't have an answer but that's a really good question and I want to know it too. Hopefully there's someone out there who knows.
  • There is a mod at MTS.
    Toybox Stores Collectibles

I used to have it but I am not using mods at the moment.

Also, the Pandora Toybox is a recolor (4 recolors) of the one in the game that would not look out of place in a kitchen or other places.
  • Actually there are two items under Decorations | Misc

  • The Ornate Beauty

I use them to store the collectibles I don't want on a shelf or cluttering my sims inventory. You can also store the herbs and insects you collect too, as well as frogs, etc. But not parts needed for upgrading items
  • I like to use the "come and get it street store" from city living ex-pack or the "Salvadorian craft sales table" from the jungle adventures gamepack to store collectables in because each one has a separate inventory so that I can keep my sims collectables organized....the downside is that they take up more space than other options...I just build a basement to put them in. And yes, the herbs from outdoor retreat can go in them!

There isn't any special place for storing Outdoor Retreat herbs and mushrooms. You can put them on shelves, counters, tables, etc. but that's only useful for very small numbers. If you have large quantities, and it sounds like that's the case, personal inventory is the only reasonable place to keep them.

  • Probably perfect for the items collected in Salvaradera(however you say it) :)
