Story line ideas?

The sims community is so creative so somebody’s bound to have some ideas 😂

ive been playing with a “legacy” sims family for about 3 generations now (gen 3 are having their kids now) and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for storylines to play out?

ive been really enjoying playing with occult sims a lot (lot of vampires on one side of my family tree and some spellcasters). I’ve got a vampire werewolf love story I’m playing out atm (they now do romantic actions together autonomously 🥰), and they now have 3 children that I’m hoping to kinda focus the story on, but not really sure what I could do with them?

ive had a few ideas to convert forgotten hollow into a “uni campus” (move all my young adult occults to forgotten hollow and play about with the university pack a bit). But not really sure about that idea anymore. So please literally if you have any ideas (even if you think they’re silly), I would really appreciate it!

I don’t want to get bored again after gen 3 😂🙏

Are you developing families outside of your legacy? I like to build out the world around my sims, so they can have friends with their own lives and stories. Getting involved with those can help.

Since you're playing occults, you could always make a family or a group that hates them? Like a vampire hunter clan, or a family of wizards who can war with your family for generations?

If the kids have any hobbies, you could also start a club for them? I made an occult boarding school, and use the club system to have a Gardening Club, a Seance Club, Music Club, Volunteer Club, and Swim Team. The volunteers visit the retirement home every week or raise money for the school, while the swim team meets every Friday to swim at a local pool.

Love your idea of the club systems! I have played about a lil with creating them lil friend groups and the adults have “covens” or “packs” so they all have friends. Haven’t really expanded too much around the world (definitely would be good to tho). Don’t want to disrupt the families that are already in my game tho because I love my sims having big families (which they always do with neighbourhood stories turned on).

definitely gonna have to makeover the wider world tho! Don’t want to go mad tho (I’ve renovated Forgotten Hollow and Del Sol Valley already, defo need to do Glimmer Brook and more in Moonwood Mill)
