Stuff packs making a comeback?
That would be great if it were true, but I won't be holding my breath.
I think the emojie eyes make it more likely Stuffpacks are returning and I'm hoping as early as July or August. - I use to not be into Kits and only owned Bust the Dust. Then bought a few off Amazon and then one the other day and one yesterday. I got them all off Amazon (no problems with codes). I like expansions, game packs, and stuff packs better though. I only bought it because Amazon gave me a gift card for a shipment that never made it to my apt. Amazon gave it to the wrong apt and whoever got it kept it (Metallica's new cd and Planet Coaster for ps4). Amazon should have brought it to my door. I was here waiting for it, but it never came.
I bought 4 kits and Realm of Magic. - catloverplayerSeasoned AceI've got my fingers crossed for a Pool Stuffpack in July or August.

The way I see it the reason why the quality of kits is good is not the smaller size and selection but the gradual increase in experience in making those objects. The items added in all DLC and updates have increased in quality over the years. DLC released in the last two or three years all have better looking items than DLC from let's say 2015, especially CAS has improved.
Oh I agree somewhat but with regards to CAS specifically there is no CAS stuff pack. Look at what was in my fitness stuff v what was in the retro fit kit. No question which is the better gym clothes pack.
This is because the kits are actually focused on the CAS and the very theme of the kit is the CAS, it’s more specialist items. Where as stuff pack CAS feels they just put items in CAS because they have to. Kits let them really focus down on the theme and not have to spread it out between CAS b/b and gameplay.
I always wish they did a better job of CAS in stuff packs. Like the movie night for example, they just made all the clothes hippy, but it didn’t really fit the theme of a movie pack.
I beg to differ. A movie pack doesn’t really have a clothes theme so they put boho stuff in it, and it did fit the furniture theme which was in if. I don’t see the stuff pack clothes as worse than kit clothes. A pack, whether it is a stuff pack or other pack might not have the particular style I’m looking for, but I don’t see anything wrong with the clothes in stuff packs. Not using custom content, I was always happy to get the extra clothing and hair styles. Kits are more focused on clothing however because that is all there is in the pack, and they can narrow it down. But, I have never seen fault with the CAS in stuff packs, other than it may not be the style I’m looking for. The bowling stuff pack had typical bowling shoes and bowling shirts, etc. - SheriSimSeasoned Hotshot

Well for movie night stuff I would have expected a movie theme. Maybe some fancy dress items, some movie themed outfits etc. Or just casual attire for cinema - not hippy clothes. And while bowling did have shoes and shirts I think they filled most of it with retro stuff?
I don’t know, just seemed to me the stuff packs were more about filling gaps in the base game catalogue and didn’t hit on the themes as well as the kits do.
But as someone else said that may be because they’re older and they’ve just gotten better at it.
See, for movies I would say very casual items, I don’t live somewhere where we dress up for movies. Some shirts with movie themes would have been a nice touch, maybe matching the movies they added to the television. I still hope we get an actual movie theatre that is not a rabbit hole like the one in San Sequoia. And, I think they still need to fix the outside TV in the pack so it doesn’t break in the rain.
I enjoyed the Boho clothes and furniture though as they were something different. And as for bowling alleys go, most of them I have been to are retro in real life, because most of them here have been around a long time. - FreddyFox1234Seasoned VeteranThis is interesting... But I'm not all that fussed about stuff packs - it all depends on what the content is. I only have a few of them and there are some I'm definitely not interested in. Same with kits. If we could get some more decent gameplay items, I don't mind whether they come in a kit of a stuff pack.
- Not to confuse anyone I don't own all the kits, but all kits except Bust the Dust (think I got that on Ea's site) I bought on Amazon.
- RasecaSeasoned NewcomerI'm waiting for that grim career and selfcare (with a blender) stuff packs we have seen. Please
- RandomTokenCodeSeasoned NewcomerPool stuff and what focuses on infant gameplay like scroller are good.
