How do you know when your animal is pregnant? And how long does it take for the kittens/puppies to be born? And what is the maximum kittens/puppies cat/dogs can have at one time? - > @kayfay8 said:

I will try that then! - oxfordspliceNew SpectatorI have three households in three different games who have pets. The one the two female cats would just go off and come back pregnant and have litters without me doing anything. This happened 3 times on me. The other I finally got the dog to breed, but it didn't happen until she had a high relationship with the other dog. In the third household, the female cat went off and came back and had a kitten--again, without me doing anything.
- I think I’ll be using manage households to move in Don Lothario’s dog temporarily. I cannot my dog to get on with any other dog, and she’s ridiculously friendly to human sims :rage:
- in my game i encouraged them breeding about 3 times and when i tried for the 4th it says wait a day to see if it was successful and a day later she was pregnant ;)
- LoriTSpNew SpectatorFor me, I've had 3 cats that will throw up when they're pregnant, the others I never knew until I got the announcement that the cat was in labour. Generally a pregnancy takes about a sim day and a half. I've had 3 kittens born at once.

Took about 10 times to mate ..and then I had two male pups:)
Wow 10 times?! Hopefully it doesn't take me that long. Now my female raccoon Asparagus ran away! So the wait is prolonged yet again! GRR Haha
Wow, I'm impressed. I've yet to even see a raccoon in the game, let alone make pets of them. :open_mouth: Be carefully, in RL they're not the friendliest of animals.
They're better if you neuter them lmao its the hormones that make them crazy AF when they hit mating age. Pet raccoon videos are my guilty pleasure lmao theres one where he washes his owners cell phone in a bowl of water along with the food he was given to wash hahaha they like washing things- I’m having a a lot of problems with my dogs breeding I’m good friends with my dog who’s a female and good friends with other dogs and have them come on my property and does not come up for them to mate, been a week tried other dogs still nothing
- Atleast you guys get the expecting pop up! When I mate mine, nothing pops up. I tried like 30 times.
- When i wanted to mate my pets i mated them about 4-5 times i couldn't remember. But after like one sim hour it said that my female dog was was pregnant, so just keep mating them and they will get pregnant
