Sugar Skulls in 2019
I'm trying to complete the sugar skull collection for a specific Sim, so the showhiddenobjects approach won't accomplish what I'm after. I need the game to acknowledge the completed collection.
So my Sim has the headstone of a recently deceased friend in her yard. (Nevermind how she acquired it.) On October 1 I was able to click on it, choose "Leave sugar skull," and I got a notification that a Day of the Dead celebrant could be found wandering the neighborhood to give her a skull. So far so good. I looked around for a celebrant. Last time I did this, the celebrant didn't wear the skull makeup and outfit, so it was really hard to figure out what was going on. But eventually I did. No makeup anymore; you have to click on everyone walking around to find the NPC with the skull. But for 24 Sim hours I clicked on everyone I found walking in the neighborhood (Glimmerbrook), and never saw the interaction "Ask for a sugar skull." Twice I did this, and nada. Have they changed it again?
