I did not see in the video that they connected the walls. Multilevel foundations may not be possible still, at least not attached to each other.

In the video they showed that the foundation is now attached to each room with that square with an up and down arrow in the middle of each room. So I'm guessing you can make them now. I really hope so because I live in a 3 level split with a full basement and up until now have never been able to create my house in this game.

OMG.... I feel like I've been gone for just a few days, and wham! Terrain tools and possibly multi-level foundations coming soon?? Sweeet!!!!!!!

I wonder if it will be possible to build a hobbit house... :open_mouth:

The first thing I will use it for is to add an upward slope, a hill in the back yard of one of the houses I made, a house that is similar to mine, which has that upward slope. Then I think I will make a house or restaurant on a hill. I hope this means we can have some foundations and some not on the same lot.

I'm hoping that's what they're working on, why this will be later than they originally planned.

The first thing I did in previous games was to flatten the lot, so I don't think I'll be building many hills. I did like the pond feature in Sims 3 - I used that quite often, but it doesn't appear that we're getting that. What does excite me is the ability to build buildings on the lot with different levels - that would be nice for a greenhouse, or a shed for some of the ginormous items that get fried by lightning all the time.
