Cade is working on that.
Working on it? They said they were working on getting that to work basically when they announced the forum as twitter embedding being broken was already an issue on the old forum. So being at the "working on it" stage still 4 months later feels like it's either proving harder then expected, or it's on the backburner
although i suspect this may just be poor auto formatting as you need to manually use the "insert as link" button

So it technically works. Just poorly, i'm suspecting that underneath the surface it uses [link]something[/link] but we can't see that. Still no actual embedding tho.

I've seen an edit button, but can't remember where 😬
Edit: found it. Three dots on the right gives you edit option along with delete and some thing else 😊
I don't guess they have that turned on yet.
You have to manually use a button to insert as link, but that still wont embed. It just turns it into a clickable link. Which interestingly also goes against the whole "can;t have signatures because security" because i don't think there's any security checks on the links
