I booted up my game for the first time in a month yesterday and I started playing them. They weren't friends as it said they were but I fixed all their relationships. Travis and Liberty hit it off and were constantly trying to be around each other, it was so cute! Summer doesn't spend a lot of time with them, she kept talking to all the people walking by outside. Of course I gave them all makeovers, but I haven't touched the house. I feel like they are going to be fun to play. Has anyone else tried hooking up Travis and Liberty? What did you do with Summer?
The only time I've ever really paid any attention to the BFF household, was during my first ever save. My sim ended up hooking up with Travis, and when they got married and moved in together, Travis was barely close to his former housemate, Summer, at all, but he had a decent romance bar with Liberty.

Him and Summer, in my game, even though they are friends they don't really seek each other to talk or hang out. Travis likes being around Liberty constantly.
I never married Travis to one of the women, because I feel that would only destroy the friendship those three have. A nonromantic male/female friendship is something so precious that I will not endanger it.
That said, I didn't really play that household in-depth, only dabbled a bit. One time in a Star Wars save Liberty had the hots for a young adult Sith apprentice, another time Summer fell in love with a sailor/fisherman and yet another time poor Travis had to marry poor Cassandra, because I was playing a challenge where you had to merge all premades into one uge family tree and those two were the only ones left over.

I could see that. Christopher Steel was my choice if I needed a quick husband for a Sim.
I like the BFF household as well. Mostly Summer though, since Liberty and Travis died before I could really care about them. She had a daughter named Elyse who eventually married into my family. Unfortunately, I don't know the dad since he got culled but she took after Summer anyhow. https://i.gyazo.com/47f758ff96094831b4cfb556f1a6ca8f.png She married my patriarch's son and had triplets (who unfortunately took after his son.) Summer Holiday is a Great-Grandmother in my game with about 9? great-grandkids, and is currently living with her eldest granddaughter, her husband, and her three kids in a big mansion I got off the gallery. Summer deserves the best for living for so long ;)
On the last day she was an Adult, I moved in a bunch of teenagers and terrorized her as she became an old lady. Unfortunately her daughter got wrapped up in their being a bit "too" mischievous too, so they were all friends. http://i.imgur.com/h0vTarW.png Besides Barnaby (pictured above) these few were also in the house. Andrew Devlin and Raelyn Bruno http://i.imgur.com/wgc6WWX.png Ronen Foust http://i.imgur.com/yjelUsG.png Chelsie McKnight http://i.imgur.com/1qFU6mT.png Elijah McKnight and Zayne Echols. http://i.imgur.com/1a2pSRz.png I used TwistedMexi's Full House mod so I'd have more sims in the house LOL. I was so devoted to being a bully to Summer I eventually kicked both Travis and Liberty out and they died anywho.
As they grew up, their red bars with Summer Holiday became fully green, and they grew out of being terrible people ;)
Barnaby Willett married my patriarch's second granddaughter, and had five kids, which included two sets of twins. Andrew Devin, Raelyn Bruno, and Ronen Foust moved out of the house while they were still teens, but since before they couldn't be alone as teens, for some reason I moved Andrew out alone with some townie temporarily and he eventually got culled :/ I brought him back for the runaway teen challenge in another save, though. Rounen Foust died in a fire when he roomed with Raelyn, and Raelyn got married to some townie guy named Sawyer Butcher. (Easily memorable name cause it sounded violent to me at the time LOL) Zayne Echols, Chelsie and Elijah McKnight moved into a house diagonally from Summer after aging into Young Adults. I was going to have Chelsie marry Zayne since they've been going out, but, MC Command Center whisked her away to another guy. She had one son. Zayne ended up a single dad with a daughter, and Elijah got married to an alien and had a half alien baby.
...And Summer outlived all of them. LOL.
Because she pretty much outlived all the premades, I decided to keep her fully stocked with youth potions to keep her alive and watch her see all her descendants live and die :joy: She was the only premade I had until Windenburg and she will continue to be the last :sunglasses:
I gave Summer a retail clothing store and she's diggin' it. She spends more time dancing to the stereo than helping customers though so that might have to go. :D
In my main save I gave summer and travis a daughter in CAS, but didn't play them until travis had died and summer about to die. Liberty moved away with her daughter whose father travis was also genetically. I couldn't set it up in CAS so it doesn't show in family tree (well it was a long time back when I didn't know how to stop culling, so wouldn't be there anyway).
I'm currently playing the daughter of summer and travis, Ladybird. She got married and has two girls. She's in the athlete career. They still live in the BFF house. I've added a pool & patio etc. and set all the lighting pink. The older daughter wants to start a clothing retail so the whole family is saving up funds for it.
I also play Liberty's grandchildren who live across the road (weird timeline here now that you mention). Actually only Shandor lives there now, because his siblings moved away, Violca with Ted & Eliza's son and Lala to Newcrest. Liberty's daughter, Andromeda, was a writer (she wrote a popular series of werevolves) and there are still her fans in the neighbourhood. She shows up as a ghost sometimes.
