For the last month or so, I have been having a hair crisis for one my sims, lol! I stopped my sims story for this amount of time because I am stuck trying to find the perfect hair for my sim! I have searched and searched, and I have downloaded tons and tons of different hairstyles, but I just can't seem to find the right one. Has anyone ever been through this kind of experience before?

I was/am making a mermaid today. When I tried to make one of the CAS randomisations I liked work, I just couldn’t find a hair. Up and down the extensive catalogue, up and down…Ended up with a whole new base instead…

I download hair all the time for my sims and I delete often because what I may download I don't end up using or I find a better quality hairstyle. I have never stop playing a household because I couldn't find the right hairstyle for them. The only time I've stop playing was to go into CAS to give them a makeover. I had the Elvira hairstyle in my game unused for months and yesterday I found a dress to go with it. I know exactly how you feel. A sim is only as good as his hair ? seriously it takes a LONG time to find the perfect hair for each sim because it really does transform their look imo. At this point in my cc collection I have enough wide variety that I never need to look for more new ones though. I always manage to find the perfect hair for each sim from something in my collection but I probably spend more time on it than makeup or clothes lol.

my problems finding hairstyle greatly lessened when i stopped playing with cc cause well theres only so many options in actual game anyway :lol:

I was playing an 18th century game save. Took forever to find the right, long hair. Back then they didn't cut their hair. Teen girls were allowed to let some of their very long locks extend down their backs, but the adults twisted them into buns, mostly, and hid them under a white linen cap. For parties, the hairstyles were high on the top, with spirals at the temples and the length of the hair also in spirals down that back. Very difficult to find a decent replica. I know your pain. Well, after all this time searching, I think I finally found the hair! I've been focusing on the small ponytail hair (blonde color) from Seasons for the last few hours. It's sporty-like, cute, and just seems to look good on her.

I get stuck on hair for my sims and wind up using the same 6 to 8 styles almost every single time because I'm really not fond of most of them. Maybe it's time for me to look at hair CC.
