The Sims 4 Bands
I was trying to make a girl group-band and assigned each Sim a different instrument. I was just wondering; do bands function similarly to the ones in The Sims 3?

- I never thought about having bands in TS4, but it sounds like a really cool idea. Especially if you were to write a song and then record it with your band in a recording studio. I would be super psyched if this came out in a future pack.
- They're not likely to bring the Singing skill to another pack, and I doubt we'll see TS3-style Bands, but Clubs have it covered. All we need are more instruments and the ability to sync up the instrument/singing (a "play together" interaction), and we'd basically have everything we need.
The "play together" would probably have to be a pre-pack patch (due to the Singing skill), but some more instrument and some rockstar-appropriate outfits could make for a decent Stuff Pack. "Isa_Menezes;15433188" wrote:

I never thought about doing that with my Sims! That's such a neat idea!- The two things I really want in ts4 right now are vampires and a drum kit.
I wonder if a drum kit will happen later this year...
My current game and story is based around bands. The lack of drums is frustraiting. - I believe Rock Star was a part of the original TS4 Music career and it is no longer part of that career branch.

Right. There are no traditional bands, though you can simulate them by creating a club that plays instruments and gathering said club at lounges, nightclubs etc.
That's a good idea!- I miss sims 3 band, but I porbably just going to go have a home concert because I don't know if I want to go outside for a gig anymore.
