•Overall thoughts?First of all, I'm a huge Sims 3 fan-All EPs/SPs/Store stuff/extra simpoint bundle extras complete(starfish, hairs, ect.). I'm also one of the people who bought KPST and like it. I posted regularly in the ideas section and probably will soon take that up again. Also, strayed into the store forums a bunch. I congratulate and thank those who worked on Sims 4. Even though there are features that I loved that was left out, overall, I'm impressed. o:)
Share: •What you liked- CAS- Love so much the x feature in CAS on hats & accessories ect. and requested this several times in Sims 3. CAS & Building is a dream. Also love that you can switch from build to buy right in the same area and it is super quick, no loading. Switching from outfit to outfit in CAS is super fast. I use to get so tired from making sims in #3 that at times I didn't play after making one or a family. I've not played a kid long yet although I had a sim give birth, so not sure about their clothes yet, but the adult clothes are really nice and some of them are fabulous. Love the neat/classic hairs for men. Females also have some great hairstyles. Not played a kid long yet. Love the pitch in the voices. Some of the walks are neat. Although I don't use them much, I'm impressed with the tattoos. Thanks for the afros. Was surprised at the variety of things in the basegame as in some things there were specific to EPs in the Sims 3. :D Also like how fast game is to save and how fast it is to exit. Nearly no wait time for either.
World-Was pleasantly surprised that switching neighborhoods is way faster than going to WA and Uni. Love how you can see who is at home by just mousing their house without going there(characters not at home are greyed out). Love the Lg. variety of things to harvest. Really coming around to loving the neighborhood idea and really excited to see worlds/EPs added and see how that works.
Gameplay- Love the pregnancy test ;) ; love the woohoo session :p ; love the way more interactions;
•What you didn't like
I wish the makeout option showed up more; at times I level them all the way up to woohoo and never see it.
I don't like that the load button(for saved games) isn't there all the time when in CAS, just in case I want to switch.
I don't like that I can't send my sims out to the gym ect. and stay home with the sim who is at home;or at least it didn't let me in a game I played.
Really hate that my sims can't eat fruits ect. I really relied on those in the Sims 3. :'(
No grocery store to buy things. Can't buy fruits. Some games, I don't want to hunt for harvestables, but want them. :'(
Don't like during weddings that I pay for entertainers, caterers, ect. and they don't do their job. No buttons to request they do it or fire them.
Don't really like having to unlock items by moving up in professions. What if I don't want to play a profession, then that items is lost to me.
I wish there was a stand and talk option. Sometimes, they sit down too much, especially when I'm trying to level them up.
Wish the come here option was more available. In huge houses, it says that they are not close enough.
Forgot to mention didn't like sim having to leave wedding to go to work. Hard to meet goals when one sim is missing.
Not sure if this goes in the don't like section, but worried about some basegame lots being so small that it would be hard to add parking spaces later.
I don't like that there are not more colors on the clothes. Some clothes/shoes don't even have a black and white option or Lt. pink for women. I wish that there were many color options for each piece, since the color wheel isn't present.
•Suggestions? All primary colors on clothes and Lt. pink on female clothes in CAS.
Ability to send out sims and stay home with one sim or sims.
Ability to eat fruits/harvestables. Not able to eat pears?
Request to do job when hiring someone for weddings, maid, ect.
unlock items or have an opt out in game option section.
Ability to have someone farther away come to you.
o:) ;)
Please add: Toddlers, vampires, belly chains, belly diamond, anklet if able to, And why no dolls??? No dolls in Sims 3 or 4. Would love fat baby dolls and porcelain types. Also, the dreads pulled back hairstyle from Sims 3. Would love to have the hammock I heavily requested from IP, the store, ect. When, Christmas comes(just said the real name because even countries that don't have it benefit from it's huge sales), please have Santa like in the Sims 2. I've never heard of anyone saying anything about it, but many who would love the feature. Even a holidays EP would be neat to round them all out. Cars, car woohoo, and shower woohoo would be nice. If at all possible, please make lifeforms CASable. At least make them easier to get. I've had Sims 3 forever and still haven't been able to nab that unicorn and many couldn't get the alien or the certain sex of their choice in aliens. Also, please don't add farm animals to pets, but make a separate EP for them and perhaps Mystical Creatures. Also, please allow us to breed animals and sell them as people do on farms ect. People also sell cat/dog babies all the time and many people get animals that way. Return of the pet store? Consider doing a religions EP. As many things that can be put in an EP, you could cover a huge amount of them and add many clothes, items, interactions that would make the game richer. Even an atheist one could be added. Please add Gardner for hire, nanny, babysitter, butler, ect. Consider doing many WA worlds to travel to, as well as, a cruise ship holiday. Please also add an adoption agency where sims can get to know kids'(and not all day and have to fill up half a bar)traits and see them and pick out the kid that is right for them instead of getting rainbow families(nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't happen that way in real life; people chose the child they feel comfortable with adding to their family.).
I forgot to ask for adolescents. Please add them when adding toddlers and in a way that both can get more stuff when EPs come out. If looking for the difference, then we all know what teens and kids do. Adolescents play board games, pogo stick, ride 4 wheelers, explore more, read more, skill up more, improve relationships more, play mommy with younger siblings, daydream a bunch, dream of the future, dream of getting married, dream of a family, dream of "said" sim, ect. In Sims 3, my kids played and did homework and my teens had part-time jobs, did homework, had relationships, learned to drive, ect. and all of them didn't have time to skill up or improve relationships, so this stage is needed.
Add a grocery store where you can buy all fruits ect. if you are not interested in harvesting them.
I like how you have a save draft on here. :D
