The Sims team said that "As we moved through our development and brand storytelling process, we became aware that the way we wanted to tell Cam and Dom’s story would not be something we could freely share around the world." This shows that the way they chose to market the pack, aiming to be "inclusive" for one group has actually excluded a larger group of people (these people can not even get the pack). They even admitted they couldn't freely share it around the world (basically a confesion of being exclusive) which doesn't make sense for EA because why would they want to miss out on those sales?
I've heard about this, I think EA should release 2 different trailers and release one trailer to each region that respects their culture, its a shame that people in Russia can't have this pack because it featured same gender couple
