The Sims 4 lacks story and depth
After playing Realm of Magic for an interminable amount of time, I have finally been able to piece together what was wrong with the pack and why it left me with such a despondent outlook on the Sims 4...

Actually w/out going into the argument itself - it just dawned on me that Seasons is the only thing that currently brought us likes/dislikes with a certain impact - my rain loving sims really do love rain, my summer hating sims doubly don't enjoy the heat.
I'm personally very much hoping for Uni to reintroduce some kind of likes/dislikes system because it fits the annoyingly opinionated university student (hey there, past self!) so well. I do agree that we really need this back, just like lifetime wishes (instead of just aspirations) would be great too. Especially if they got special reward traits toward the end of their lives for fulfilling them (never having cheated, for example). And we most definitely need interactions like "admit to cheating" and long-lasting reactions to this. Speaking of this, I'd also like memories back, but after their dreadful implementation in TS3 I'd rather they do it TS2 style or not at all. But then that brought certain bugs and potentially corrupted saves with it too, so there are pros/cons to everything I guess.
