This is the reason why only 8 sims are allowed in a household!

I was going through my external drive when I found this photo I took of my Sims 2 game: Apparently the "reason" why only 8 sims are allowed in a household is to save the planet. Not even in sims...

Face/palm. Is this also why they patched Sims4 and disabled the ability for a modder to break said 'rule'?
