I have improved recently though, with the introduction of the teeny tiny saucer light. I will allow myself to use that in my builds, but only if I size it down to near invisible proportions :D
I'm the same way with ceiling lights, and I determined it's because I like the lighting/ambience of wall, table, and floor lamps better. A lot of builds on the gallery will have a ton of those saucer lights and it's sooo bright, just too bright for me lol. The only ceiling lights I use really are the candle chandeliers, like the ones from Vampires, Get Together, and Jungle Adventure.
