Time Glitch When Going To & From Work And School

Hello. As the title of this discussion suggests, I have been having trouble with the in game time and am wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this. Basically, sims are not going to work on time - the notification (in an hour) pops up about an hour (in game time) later than it should and then when the sims are due to come home, they don't. For example sims with jobs that end at 9pm won't get back until 12pm?! This is the same for when going to school. I don't know whether this problem occurred after a patch as I can't remember when I first noticed it but it seems to have gotten incredibly annoying recently and for me, is making the game unplayable. Is anyone else having this problem?
