If the online component were to be something along the lines of what they do in Occupy White Walls, I could see it being really cool. The problem is that anything EA does is severely monetized, and chopped up into tiny microportions that are so limited that you really can't have fun unless you buy all the things.
No matter what it is, or how cool they hype it up to be, it's by EA, which means it will pretty much be DOA. Their audience is pretty much people who will pay anything for hype, and they do have a strong base of people who genuinely seem to enjoy that.
They might call it a game, but I don't think that word will mean what they want us to think it means.
