Kids do but toddlers. Why are so not wanting to do holiday stuff.
Having dinner. Opening presents. Trick or treating.
Toddlers can do these things in the real world.
Not in the some 4.
Not true they like costumes also they get excited about presents if you tell them to go get excited about presents under the tree. - MidnightAura867 years agoSeasoned AceI don’t know, I think it’s fairly realistic the way toddlers are with regards to holidays.
My two year old niece doesn’t care for Halloween eating meals like celebration meals and last year at Christmas she opened her presents with the help of her sister but wasn’t that bothered. She’s two. She spent the day playing with an old doll and ignored most of her new presents. I think the amount of toddler enthusiasm for holidays is about accurate. - I guess it feels like there a bit excluded.
to Me Christmas is for toddlers to.
my niece and nephew twins are nearly 3
they love the lights
they help decorate the tree last year, we help them with letters for Santa.
they enjoy opening present for Christmas. they love the candy and stuff. food.

when you plan the holiday with seasons, like what you want to do, toddlers are excluded from fulfilling the holiday goals.
helping decorating the tree
opening presents
dressing up
are excluded as a goal- pepperjax12307 years agoSeasoned Ace

a toddler in the real world can help add things to a tree.
also,
a dad could pick the toddler up so the toddler could place the star!
of course they can't decorate a tree by themselves, do kids decorate a tree on there own?
of course not, you do it with your family :o
toddlers get excited of opening presents, dressing up and enjoy the candy etc ect
why are they excluded in some of the goals to?"Aeroprincess87;c-16752389" wrote:

Not true. I just had halloween in my game and my sim's twin toddlers both had goals to dress up. And given the other traditions, it was the only one that made sense for them to have.
for me it says the toddlers ignores a lot of of traditions. I understand they can't do some.
maybe I am just experiencing some bugs.#"MidnightAura;c-16752358" wrote:

this is so strange to me.
I see the complete opposite in my family. not really accurate at all from what I've seen.
My brothers son loves the food, helping place the decorations, opening presents and happily playing with them!
excitement and smiles all day.
I guess it depends on the toddler then.- Hermitgirl7 years agoSeasoned AceI don't play with the toddlers often and haven't experienced every holiday with them yet but I had a lot of fun the day the flower bunny came. I'll post my pics but hide them because to me they kind of tell the story. I'm leaving out a lot that happened that day. I do wish that the toddlers could have carried a basket or something but I guess that must be pretty hard for them to program .. it didn't detract from the day but would have added to the feel of it for me.
The day started with an egg hunt. They found a bunch of eggs on a small lot. The bunny came. One of the toddlers was so shy with them .. and that suited her traits. The bunny played with her autonomously with the dollhouse. I really enjoyed how it unfolded. I think the glow they gave the bunny was great too.. makes me think they were enchanted and gives me good feels.
I don't mind if the game add tasks .. but I don't want my sims to have to do them (if I don't personally think it suits my character) so for me less is more. I want the option for me to have my sim engage in activities to tell the story.. they did. For me this holiday was very full for these toddlers. - pepperjax12307 years agoSeasoned Ace

But they do get excited over some things like if you have Easter they love the Flower Bunny and they love to look for eggs. They get excited if they can dress up on Spooky Day but you have to make those holidays.
