- SheriSim2 years agoSeasoned AceI don’t like that there might be only 9 lots, and some look a strange size….. long and thin….. if those are lots. But something else I noticed are that there looks like an awful lot of roads…… could that be hinting to cars?
I also wonder how many lots we will have out over the water. They did mention houses on stilts. - Katofhyrule122 years agoSeasoned AceI am playing on Playstation 5 and even without all the packs added, I am suffering lag. With each pack added, more and more machines will not be able to handle all the packs at once. And for a pack that will include large lots, the fewer the number of lots, the smoother the large lots will run.
- logionX2 years agoLegendHm… the size of that world map leaves a bit to be desired. That’s a pity because the world looked pretty nice in the trailer and if there will only be two neighborhoods then that sounds like they could be pretty large and will feel like ghost towns, especially if you are already on a lot like a large apartment house with a lot of sims there already.
Doesn’t really feel like the world they tried to showcase in the trailer. - FreddyFox12342 years agoSeasoned AceI think I’d like to see more of this pack before making any kind of judgement based on the map. There’s more to a pack than just the number of lots, so I want to wait and see. Maybe it will be disappointing, but maybe the gameplay and/or other features will make it feel like a solid pack.
- Phonecallz2 years agoSeasoned AceI am fine with the world size if I'm honest, because I feel like we have so many worlds in The Sims 4 already and I would really like a future Expansion Pack to not actually come with one. I also feel that they've maybe made this Expansion Pack now so that future worlds can become smaller with the justification that apartments can be placed down which allows multiple units on one lot. I would not be surprised either if this was the case as the game has 70+ DLC now.

I can accept/not be mad at only having 9 lots between 2 neighborhoods, but I won't pretend I'm happy about it either.
I do want to see what the distribution is on lot types. I'm figuring 2 empty, 1or 2 normal residential, three (or if there's only one normal residential, four) residential rental, and 2 community lots
if this map holds true, one of the community lots is definitely that side beach where sims swam in the trailer! - GrumpyGlowfish2 years agoSeasoned AceI'm not too worried about this particular pack having a small world, because the customisable residential rental feature will certainly make up for some of that missing space. It's not even the smallest one we ever got in an EP; Get To Work's Magnolia Promenade had only four lots and Seasons didn't come with a world at all.
What I am worried about, however, is that this might be the developers' way of testing the waters and preparing us for even smaller worlds in the future. The number of lots was already cut in half between City Living and Cats & Dogs, to the point that we've gotten used to expecting EP worlds with 12-15 lots. Is 9 the next step on this downwards slide, and will residential rentals become the go-to excuse for it, even though not every player will have the necessary pack to build them?
However, this is all just speculation at this point. There is still the very small possibility that the leaker simply made a typo and actually meant 19 lots. Not very likely, but... we'll see. - i_love_frogs_112 years agoSeasoned AceWorse case is, if I only want Tomorang as a vacay world in a save, then I wil have to demolish the prebuilt apartments and put the other tourist lots that I want :'( Crosses fingers (please let hotels be the next new community lot type to come to TS4 it'll make vacations so much better, tysm)
- Simmerville2 years agoLegendBefore you guys get a 9-lots heart attack; did anyone actually confirm that there are 9 lots? If not, why do we think there are 9 lots? I mean, the map shows what might be 9 *empty* lots. We normally get just a couple empty lots, so the map picture must have been taken before (all) builds were added. But perhaps builds were added to 4 lots already? Or 7 lots already? We don't know for sure, do we?
I'm fine with 9 lots. That said, I'm hoping for a few this-feels-like-a-community-lot locations around the world, like the outdoor servings might be combined with a food cart. Or maybe we can walk inside one of the deco builds to buy a drink? Or to buy souvenirs? A la the sales in Tartosa. Then it might feel like a couple extra community lots added to those 9? - SheriSim2 years agoSeasoned Ace

Could someone circle each lot in the map? I have no idea what is a lot and what is a shell. I just know those beautiful row houses with the boats in front of them won’t be playable ?
This! I can’t make out exactly what lots are supposed to be lots!!
