Tomarang World Discussion Thread

For me, the most important aspect of this pack is the ability to build multi-family lots. That will drastically increase the amount of sims living in any world.... double/triple/quadruple. All the worlds can have way more households squeezed in.... giving us more free lots to throw in venues (restaurants, retail, etc) without having to sacrifice residential lots.

As an example: The tiny world of Forgotten Hollow (only 4 buildable lots) can now have a vampire apartment building or row houses... which means more vamp households can live in the world.

Multi-family lots is a huge game changer! :smiley:

I saw tiger plushies. Maybe the animal sanctuary is for tigers. I would love tigers. I hope sims can ride the boats, in the video I saw what looked like a sim rowing a boat. I also saw a tuk-tuk, hope it's rideable too.

Wait what? You saw a sim rowing a boat? I'll have to go back and look again. That would be awesome.... even better if we can fish off of a boat? Surely this world should have plenty of fishing options?

I was kind of hoping for rickshaw rides too.... but I assume those little rickshaw taxis are just decor items.

Tigers would be great. Maybe tigers will be the this world's 'mascot' representative?

Hopefully more then one sim can use these boats.

Regarding tigers I asked SimGuruNova on X if that animal sanctuary is a rabbithole.

When they show the beach area, under the bridge it looks like there is a sim rowing a boat. The rickshaw taxis could work a bit like bicycles, not entirely impossible to add.

The world is so vibrant and beautiful. I never used to complain about the amount of lots but it's been getting smaller and smaller. Really hoping for a decent amount of lots.

I expect the temple and animal sanctuary to be rabbit holes. I'm not against rabbit holes when it the options are stepping off the curb into the void for a couple of sim hours or walking into a shell.
We would all like more content but S4 packs tend to focus on one feature and anything else is a bonus.

Yes the rowboat is at 2:18 into the video. I used the slowest speed and full screen to see it. There is definitely a sim rowing it and it looks big enough for more then one sim.

Just be cautious, at the beginning of the video is says “Not all images will appear in game”

I want to be wrong, but I feel like this is going to be a small world. I noticed that they didn’t mention any neighborhood names in the blog post. And that the trailer the seems to show the same neighborhood or two neighborhood. I’m not sure.
