Let's see the name list... Spider... Lizard... Cloud...
These names (both first and last names) are taken from NativeAmerican namelist. So yeah, these are not pet names, but rather names for sims meant to be inspired by Native American names.
Some other examples include (some names may also appear for the other gender too):

- Snow
- Storm
- Sand
- Hill
- Trout
- Turkey
- Falcon
- Moon
- Squirrel
- Rabbit
- Male
- Wolf
- Lynx
- Newt
- Otter
- Bull
- Prickly Pear
- Pumpkin

Some usual names are also there. It's due to Horse Ranch still.
