I've changed a few of my Sims traits but I still get negative moodlets from them. I gave my sim the geek trait as a teen, removed it towards the end of teen years but still gets the stressed emotion from it, same with dance machine, and non-committal. I'e even tried "remove all traits" cheat and readded new ones but they're still appearing. Any help?Thanks.

Traits removed via cas.fulledit don't really go away. This is a known bug that's been around since the game first came out. I doubt they'll prioritize fixing it anytime soon since it's a cheat-bug. To fix it you'll have to go through and remove each of the traits individually by doing the following:Use the Cheat Console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C. Input the cheat code testingcheats true. The type traits.remove_trait {TraitNameNoSpaces}I have done this recently and it did remove them fully so hopefully it will work for you as well. If it doesn't try repairing your game to see if it fixes it. If it doesn't try removing any mods and try it then to see if you're having mod-conflict.

Well a sim can't have more than 3 of the main traits (ie the traits you choose from when you create or age up a sim) so no it wouldn't allow your sim to have more then 3 of those at a time. However you can add as many of the reward traits as you want because the game is designed to allow that already.

Try removing all off the traits that the sim originally started with and all of the traits they currently show as being listed as having (even if you want to keep them remove them just to get a clean slate) and then re-add the ones you want up to 3 traits. I'd suggest doing a google search to find out exactly what they're called in the game because they do sometimes have different names.ETA: Looks like you got it figured out so yay for that!
