trial version of Eco Living

Don't even see the Free Trial button on mine like I did when they free trialed City Living (Do I remember correctly that this is the second free trial they have offered?) Checked my version level and I'm fully updated.

I was all set to play for a bit on the trial. Made a new sim, loaded into Evergreen harbour even spoke to the NPC that came to her door. Then it crashed. It crashed when I tried to take a photograph, set up an event (party) and now when I load back in, (she's not on home lot) it crashed on entry.

I think I will pass on buying it now if I can't truly get to experience it, even just until she clears up the neighbourhood at least once.

I've changed all the pre made houses into eco houses - apart from the apartment buildings which I can't put panels on the roof etc - but the rubbish piles still seem to be everywhere - does anyone know how many game 'weeks' it takes to clear up the stuff as its irritating having a lovely green eco house (loving the CAS and build&buy with this pack! the hexagonal floor tiles are gorgeous) with piles of rubbish and industrial waste everywhere else? Also the dumpster diving I can't find a dumpster to save my sims life lol

As this is only a trial until Monday its unlikely anything I do will completely get rid of the rubbish in time for me to see what it wold look like without all the crud everywhere

I was hoping it would be like Sulani - you pick up the rubbish and recycle it but you cant click on any of the rubbish piles which is a shame - from what I gather you have to dumpster dive for rubbish to go into the recycling machines? Its not very clear to be honest

Yes, Fabrication can fail, especially early skill level I guess. It grabs them sometimes and they go for an unexpected dip in the machine. It’s quite the animation but doesn’t hurt them.

That's what I was thinking but I wasn't entirely sure as I haven't tried very many items yet. It's a little disappointing but oh well!
