I think you should have some drama. Have one wedding get planned properly, then have a jealous sibling insist that they want their wedding right away to beat the other sibling to the alter but have the wedding go terrible and have the third elope :D >:)
I've played this family so many times due to game save corruptions, Player Malfunction, Mod gone bad, you name it, I've restarted it. In every game save my Global Superstar married a different Sim. Once his family life got underway, however, I found myself bored. Couldn't quite figure out what the problem was until I inadvertently caused a major upheaval. I use the MCCC mod and forgot that when you have over 8 Sims in a household and take the family into cas.fulleditmode, the ones over that magic number get immediately culled. Of all the Sims to be culled (and I only had 9 Sims, just so you know) it was Erik's fiancée. Face/palm. Of course. There was all kinds of drama leading up to his decision. He had three females in the dorm whom he had romantic feelings toward. He took each of them out, one at a time, of course. When Tamela beat up one of his adoring Fans, however, Erik drew the line. Then he kissed Gem in sight of Tamela, whom he didn't realize was in the dorm foyer, so to speak. Then Tamela insister Erik's only sister, Brianna, put in a good word for her to her brother. It was drama galore. LOL
In another game save, Aaron and Sandi (Beeches) at that time, decided during their Keg Party after graduation to 'tie the proverbial knot' right there in the dorm!
The idea of the triplets came to me, after Erik's disaster. Gem just disappeared. I wrote that she left him a note and the rock he'd purchased for her and said, "I'm sorry." He was nearly destroyed, almost lost his career in his devastation. Was overly fond of the juice, if you will. One day, when he was ready to come out of hiding, he's sitting at a bar and in walks the One. Kayleigh Golden. She was newly divorced with a Toddler and Erik fell in love.
Another mod-buster patch and this scenario grew. I recreated Kayleigh, giving her parents and two sisters. This is the making of my Main Game save. I loved his domestic life and was no longer bored. He just needed the right bride. The other two brothers married her sisters, breaking from my original mini-series backstory for my Original/Character. I think allowing myself to throw away the 'script' as it were, gave me fodder to further explore the possibilities. Before Erik and Kayleigh, alone with their infant son, Jamison, moved into their very own house, Joey and Hayleigh eloped. They moved in with Erik's family. (Med student, low on funds.)
When we got the latest mod-busting patch, I set up a second TEST save so that I didn't inadvertently cause a corruption in my Main Save. So, once again, I relied upon my Cantrell family. I was all about testing the Road to Fame mod, that I need to have my singer Sim, you see. So, I reset the scenario a tad, by changing out the names of Kayleigh's sisters. I made them identical this go around whereas before Kayleigh and Hayleigh were identical and Regina, not. I gave Kayleigh's sisters the names of the original brides from my mini-series, Sandi and Astrid. I'm still playing around with how I'm going to do their weddings. Also, this time I've got all of them in the same Dorm at Britechester-U, so I can control them. In my Main Save the triplets were in the dorm next door, but I didn't control them, so they eventually dropped out of university. We'll see what happens, though. I do post in the "What Happened in Your Game Today, the Non-Serial Version." Just bits and pieces. But, once it's time for wedding(s) I'll cover them, fully.
Just wanted to note, that one of the previous brides of Erik decided to call the media to their exclusive wedding venue. This angered Erik, as he thought they had decided on something more intimate. Family and a few friends. She was an orphan, so part of him realized she needed more on her side of the aisle, but with his celebrity status, it was too much. He apologized to the gathering, making it his fault, saying
his bride had changed her mind … etc. to stay and enjoy the food and the music and thank you so very much for coming. (She was a witch on a broom, pardon the saying.)
