They could easily create a GP containing MUSIC/BANDS and FASHION DESIGN. It could add to and benefit from Get Famous or work as a stand alone if you don't have GF (but, of course, your sim won't gain fame but they could still progress in that career).
MUSIC/BANDS
This could expand singing to a career with duets and groups like a choir or quartet. It could come with a recording studio and a concert venue.
Bands could get gigs at local bars or play in the parks. Maybe there could be a small singing competition your sim could enter. There would be new instruments for rock/country bands and small orchestras. I'd love to have a harp and be able to hire a harpist for my fancy dinner parties.
FASHION DESIGNER
The fashion design career could expand on the photo studio object to include a career and fashion photography. The design side could use the sketch book and add a sewing machine to design your own clothes. There could be a set number of blank coats, shirts, pants, shoes, etc. that your designer sim could color using a limited color wheel and stamps and add embellishments like fringe or feathers or whatever. The designer could, at a high level, put on a fashion show and design all the outfits that hang on a special rack and hire a photographer and models. As a model, your sim would hire a photographer to create a "book" of modeling shots which could be updated with more modeling experience and land you more jobs. Then, with book in hand, the model goes on "GO SEE'S" to book jobs, some of which are rabbit hole jobs.
After the first pet dlc for dlc uproar - you can forget them ever expanding any more packs. Heck we will be lucky to ever see another stuff pack. EA don't repeat things that cause uproars usually - so we made our choice when we had a fit over the first dlc for an ep why on earth would they revisit that?
The things are not comparable. The problem wasn't that my first pet stuff had small pets.It was that it had lot stuff only good if you already had cats, and dogs. The human outfits were recorlors, and the furniture either was recorlor what we had in cats, and dogs or a set that should been with cats, and dogs.If ea just made the pack with hamster, and another small pet. With new unique clothing, and no cats and dig stuff. It would been better received, but no they were greedy and lazy.
That would be the same thing as it would have to require that ep in order to make it work. EA will not let that happen because of all the uproar - believe me as the stock market would complain. Honestly, players want to think deeply before you battle over pack or we end up losers because of it. EA does not like things that make the stock people frown.
Had people simply rejected it with out all the fuss - it would have been fine. But they had to go and rant all over the place. Not a good idea when you are playing in the backyard of a multi-billion dollar company like EA. Not a good idea at all. They will deny approval of such packs indefinitely if it causes bad press - believe me.
People did reject it without fuss, no one staged a demonstration outside their offices, the pack was criticised by many including game changers for a good reason. You may not accept it, but it is what it is. (And when game changers are critical, something is wrong!)
Kind of sounds like what you are saying is we should be grateful at every crumb offered and accept it without question because those who have power might punish us for daring to question bad business practices.
Take cities skylines: that game had a truely awful mini EP that had very little bang for its buck. People complained as is their right and made it clear this wasn’t okay. People left negative reviews. The dev team took notice because it had to and updated the pack adding in more content so it was worth the price.
If content flops don’t blame your fan base, blame the people who made the decision in the first place. And I don’t think MFP flopped knowing what I know of sim fans.

I think the acting career will feel more substantial and have more meat, the influencer career could be social media lite. But we shall see.
