Ugh so annoying!

I use the MC command mod & it has options that will let you tweak the alien abductions.

It was updated soon after the patch. I haven't encountered any problems.

Works just fine for me.

The mod works completely fine with me, I haven't seen any aliens actually and havent been abducted for quite a while

I know most simmers are just dying to be abducted but sorry I'M NOT ONE OF THEM, aliens should be rare not in front of my face the whole time!
I don't get why people who hate aliens get them much and people who love them don't ??

You rule :weary: I feel your pain. The only way to really ensure that you don't have to deal with aliens is to uninstall GTW which blows if you like OFB and want to run your own businesses. Neither of these features are related. Alien gameplay in TS4 is simply sadistic... I'm really sorry that your sim got kidnapped.

There has been a new version of the mod released yesterday which fixes the abduction issues. There is information on the download site, if you would like to use it to alter the abduction settings in your game

Maybe aliens are like cats--the more you dislike them, the more they crowd around you. The more you like them, the more they avoid you. Sorry they're so in-your-face. :'(

I fully intended to get GTW when it came out, until I read about the aliens. I 100% do not want them in any way in my game, so I didn't buy it. How hard would it have been for them to add an 'alien on/off' toggle in options? "You rule"

I must be the lucky one, because I hate the idea of an alien abduction and I never ever had one. I've heard they're more common with the scientist career are you playing that? I hope that by saying this I'm not jinxing myself LOL! I do have MCC see with the settings on to not get one though. That isn't why I've never had one because it's only been about a month since I installed MCCC and I've been playing for a couple years but I feel safer now anyways LOL. I haven't had any issues with it since the patch other than I just had to install the new version that came out the same day
