- I fix them. Usually, I use card.fulleditmode when they age up to toddlers to see what they’ll look like as YA and fix what needs fixing if it’s too bad. I’m okay with them looking a bit wonky as kids, but I want them to eventually look okay.
- I don't like changing the natural genetics of the kids in my game. I have to really hold myself back when they end up looking really wonky though :D
- I am generally pretty lucky with genetics. Sometimes I just tweak the eyebrows a bit or make their bodies a bit more balanced.
- I feel like I see this conversation all the time :D
But anyway I mess around with a kids face just a little bit to make the proportionate, but not so much that they look completely different. If I do, that’s for a special case... - My secret is, the Kids are direct copies of the parents, and the parents are direct copies of each other with minor alterations. skin color nose, hair and eye adjustments. so the childs looks are preserved and i don't have to change things so much.
- I miss the device you could use to change their appearance, not just their clothes. Also, I wish we could get them plastic surgery at the hospital like we used to.

How do you do this? I'm interested. thanks :)
Open the cheat box and type "testingcheats true" You should get a line that says "Cheats are on" or something similar.
Then in the cheat box type "cas.fulleditmode"
Then you should be able to click on the sim (possibly shift-click) and see an option that says "Edit in CAS" or something very similar. That takes you to CAS and you can adjust whatever you like.
I try not to mess with mine too much but sometimes...something is just tragic, like their face is receding into their skull or something. :P Sometimes if something is odd but seems more like a quirk of the family I'll leave it (right now I've got a female sim with huge...er, a very large chest area and virtually no hips, and her daughters are all basically the same). I figure they're just built that way. - neylajcSeasoned NewcomerI only edit them if their features are unrealistically monstrous like in those ugly to beauty challenges. Most of my sims are pretty or average looking. If they have a few quirky features I leave em be. Adds character.
