Unfulfilled dreams or wishes
My sim husband is very angry all the time unless I will fulfill his wish to listen to POP music. It's not a big deal but hilarious. Do your sims have any interesting dreams?

One of mine wants to plant something.

(I just bought a planter, threw an onion on it and told him to plant that. Sorted.)
They (Sims) certainly do seem to get worked up about the most trivial things. You're quite right, it is kinda funny.
