Unidentified Fruit Object

If the sim has their own rocket ship, they can be in any career you pick for them. And they can still get the UFO plant. Since they do not have to be employed at all in order to explore space in their own rocket ship.

@sunman502 That's fair enough, and I'll probably still go the rocket ship route anyway and just check the festivals as they happen just in case. If I get desperate I'll cheat but for now I just want to do it the "proper" way. But yeah, will most likely use your rocket ship suggestion :)

Smart choice, if you don't feel like cheating the plant in. But if you want the quickest way to getting the UFO plant. Then cheating the plant in is the way to go. o:)

I have been to Sixam many times over. And I have never gotten a UFO plant from there. All I have ever gotten from there as far as plants go was the Fang flower, glow orb, and the quill plant. But never the UFO plant, in fact I have never seen the UFO plant growing there at all in my game. If someone has the UFO plant growing on Sixam in their game. It's because they have placed one there by a mod of some kind. Because UFO plants do not grow on Sixam by default. The UFO plant is a base game plant, meaning that the plant has been in the game since it's release back in 2014.

Three ways to get that. The easiest is to cheat it into your game. If you have Get To Work, and a high level employee in the science career. Use the teleporter machine to send a co-worker the alien world. They sometimes will bring one back for you. Or send your sim to explore space in their rocket ship and they'll have a chance to bring one back that way too. :)

@sunman502 Thanks :) So is being in the scientist career a necessity then, or can a sim in a different career get it just with the rocket ship alone?

Do they actuallt grow on Sixam If you go there or is it only via a random chance event?

Apparently if you have City Living there is a chance a UFO plant might spawn into the planters at the Romance Festival but it’s a very rare chance so if you don’t want to go the cheat route the rocket ship adventure is probably your best bet.

It also sometimes spawns at the Romance Festival so if you have City Living, just check in every now and again for it.
