Listen. I understand that a lot of nostalgia surrounds the early games for a lot of simmers. And, I’m all for incorporating the game’s past while still moving forward. But, I’m sorry. Nothing can make me understand the constant demand for the vibrating heart beds and heart tubs from early titles. Even in my youth, those things were cliches for sleazy rendezvous. Why are they so high on everyone’s want list? Let’s just wait for the casino pack. Maybe they’ll even throw in some Elvis impersonators to make it really classy.
And, I’m pretty sure bachelor parties don’t involve many cake dancers these days, either. Cake dancers all over Nevada had to actually learn to dance so they could get real work as showgirls. Bach parties have changed. There may still be some scantily clad ladies involved, but modern bachelor parties seem to be more experience or destination based.
Times change. What is relevant changes. I’m afraid what was ??? in the original game is just going to be ??? in this one. But, to each their own. Maybe they can do a “Blast to the Past” kit for those who still need these things in their games.
