I like the Homey, Convivial, Natural Light, Bracing Breezes, Science Lair lot traits for skilling but I don't use them anymore so I guess you could say they're useless for me. However, I do use Private Dwelling and most recently the Registered Vampire Lair lot traits. Those two don't have any stars/lightbulbs dancing around.
UGH, yes. They don't go away with headlineeffects off. It kind of ruins the screenshots for my show, so I took off the homey trait.
