You ever wonder there are just some lot traits that practically serve no real purpose, or that they have loose definitions that are not exactly what you intended them to be? I know a good example of this is the Teen Neighborhood lot trait which I find to be practically useless in most every aspect of its use. All it really does is spawn Teens to walk-by, I don't think they've ever really visited community lots with that trait, just walk-by. Who else thinks that there are some useless lot traits?

I find historical lot traits pretty useless. If they have any purpose, I haven't noticed.

Haunted is useless/broken. Tried it on several lots and have yet to see any ghosts.

I used to like Convivial (if I remembered the name correctly) but I found the constant change between Confident and whatever other emotion annoying. Especially when I had the emotion jingle on.

I was disappointed, however. I had very much hoped the ghost would be more like the ones in Sims2, that would actually haunt the place and scare my Sims. Nope, the teen fell in love with her, instead. :( Unbelievable. Why have a haunted castle?

UGH, yes. They don't go away with headlineeffects off. It kind of ruins the screenshots for my show, so I took off the homey trait.

Gremlins. They don't just break one thing. Or two things. They break pretty much everything. Annoying and tedious to me.

Though tbh that's how I feel about most of the so-called 'challenging' lot traits. Just annoying time sinks and little else. I mean, why bother boosting skills or making money or having better stuff like baked good be made when I could have my screen shake and my Sims get tense for no good reason, right? :P
